Passionate About Inspiring Others
Kathy Remeika is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, adolescents, and families in Long Beach, California for more than 20 years. She works with clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, addiction, grief and loss, and major life transitions.

Kathy’s work focuses on helping clients understand how past experiences may be influencing present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through therapy, clients can process difficult experiences, develop greater self-awareness, and create healthier patterns in their relationships and daily lives.

Her approach to therapy is integrative and tailored to the unique needs of each client. She draws from a range of therapeutic models including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, existential therapy, and solution-focused approaches.

Kathy is a Certified EMDR Therapist and frequently incorporates EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients process trauma and other distressing life experiences. She has also received training in Ketamine Assisted EMDR Therapy™, an integrative model that combines EMDR with low-dose ketamine to support deeper trauma processing in appropriate cases.
Kathy provides in-person therapy in Long Beach, California and offers telehealth sessions for clients throughout California.
